First time playing?
Create your account and character, download the Azurefall patcher, and open it directly. Choose Install once, then Play. The patcher downloads the current game files on first launch; leave room for future updates. Your game files and settings stay in Windows AppData.
Keep the patcher wherever you prefer and use the same file for future game updates. There is no Windows installation wizard and no ZIP to unpack.
Windows download warnings
Azurefall 1.2.3 is a single-file patcher, not a Windows installer. It is not yet publisher-signed, so Windows or your browser may still show a new-download or unknown-publisher warning while reputation builds. A malware detection is different: stop and report its exact name on Discord. Do not disable antivirus protection or add exclusions.
